The main role of the conveying element is to efficiently and stably push the material in the barrel with positive displacement. The size of the lead determines the conveying speed. The larger the lead, the faster the conveying speed. Conversely, the smaller the pitch, the slower the conveying speed (pitch range 0.5D-2D). The conveying elements can be divided into self-wiping elements and non-self-wiping elements. Suitable elements can be selected according to different process conditions.
The main function of the kneading elements are plasticizing and mixing (dispersion and distribution). The effect of dispersion and distribution is realized according to the thickness of each kneading disc and offset angle.
